Some Useful Tips subscribing to the USCCB News Service
-
Anyone can view and browse the news items posted at the USCCBnews
site.
-
You need a Yahoo ID to subscribe to the newsgroup. If you already have
one, please use that. Otherwise, you need to create one and remember the ID and password.
It is unfortunate that you have to remember another ID/password pair.
If you absolutely do not want this, but would like to be on
the e-group, you can send email to the
group moderator
to manually add your email address to the list.
-
There are three Delivery Options: Individual
Emails, Daily Digest, and No
Mail/Web Only.
If you are checking email on a regular basis, you can choose "Individual
Emails".
If you check email only once a day, you might wish to choose the "Daily
Digest" option and receive one batch each day.
If your email connection is slow and there are too many news items
to your liking, you might want to use "NoEmail"
so that you don't get bogged down by emails. It is also advisable to visit
the USCCBnews
to change to this option to stop mail if you are not checking email for
a long duration. You can always check the web site for news item while
you are on the road.
-
Don't forget your sign-up email address and password, that is your key
to access the newsgroup.
-
You do not have to save the news items if disk space is a problem for you.
All items are archived in the
USCCBnews
site.
